  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do reside personally upon my Cure, & in my Parsonage House. I have a Curate, resident, who is duly licenced & to whom I give the yearly Salary of sixty three pounds. I have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have no more Benefices than one.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at no other Church besides my own except occasionally at the Chapel in Dock town.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine service is perform'd in my Church on Sundays & on all Holy Days twice on Evry Lords day. In the morning a Sermon preach'd by myself & one in the afternoon by my curate.

  5. Frequency of communion: The sacrament of that Lords supper is administr'd once in evry month the number of communicants each time about sixty on the great Festivals twice that number.

  6. Catechising of children: The youth in my Parish are catechised ev'ry day in Passion Week.

  7. Church fabric: The Church & Chancel are in good repair. The Church yard is well kept. And all things are decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: A Terrier of the Glebe Lands Houses &c was deliver'd to the late Bishop of Exeter at his Visitation. If the present Bishop of Exeter wou'd require another & his Lordship will be pleased to signify such desire it Shall be made out accordingly.

  9. Number of families: There are in my Parish about two thousand five hundred families.

  10. Chapels: There are two Chapels within my Parish. One in ye Dock yard & another in ye town. To ye first ye Lords of the Admiralty, To that in ye town the Rector of Stoke Damerell nominates the Salary of the latter is fifty pounds per annum.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have no reputed Papists in my Parish. There are two {meeting} meeting Houses for dissenting congregations one composed of the followers of Mr Westley the other of persons who call'd them selves Independent Presbiterians. The 1st has no settled teacher ye 2d one Mr Kinsman.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: I have no Alms house Hospital or other Charitable Endowment in my Parish nor any Parochial Library: there are four schools in my Parish for ye Education of boys & three for girls.

  13. Charity: There are no Lands or Tenements or other Benefactions which have been left for any pious & charitable uses in my Parish.

    Priest's orders and institution: The date of my institution to the Rectory of Stoke Damorel in the County of Devon was the twenty fifth day of May 1753. I was ordained at Oxford a Deacon in the year 1738 & in the following year <1739> & at the same place admitted into the Holy Order of Priests.
